AI motion control that copies any move onto your character

Kling Motion Control on VidBoss AI copies the moves, timing and camera of a reference video onto your character. Make AI dance videos and trend remakes.

Upload a reference clip and a character image. Kling Motion Control follows the reference frame by frame, so your character performs the same dance, gesture or skit.

Pair it with Replicate Viral Videos to use ready-made trending templates.

How it works

  1. Add a reference clip. Up to 30 seconds, one person, clear full body.
  2. Add your character. Saved character or photo.
  3. Generate. Length follows the reference clip.

Why VidBoss AI

  • Frame-by-frame motion: Dance moves, gestures and timing.
  • Camera follows: The reference camera movement is kept.
  • Original audio: Keep the reference soundtrack.
  • Viral templates: Start from curated trends.

What you need before you start

Motion control works from two inputs, and their quality decides most of the result.

  • A reference clip of 3 to 30 seconds (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 50 MB) with one performer, the full movement in frame, a steady camera and no hard cuts.
  • A character photo with one subject and even lighting, framed like the performer: a half-body photo for a half-body clip, a full-body photo for a full-body one. A saved character works well.
  • Permission to use both. Only use clips and photos you have the rights to use.

Which motion control model to use

VidBoss AI offers three Kling Motion Control versions. They work the same way and differ in resolution and price. Kling 3.0 Pro renders in 1080p; Kling 3.0 Standard and Kling 2.6 Standard are 720p beta options that cost less, which makes them handy for testing a trend before you spend credits on a final version. The length of the result follows your reference clip, and the exact credit price is shown before you generate.

Common problems and how to fix them

  • Arms or hands look wrong: pick a reference clip where the hands stay in frame and move less quickly.
  • The character drifts from your photo: use a sharper, front-facing photo, or a saved character.
  • Parts of the body are cut off: match the photo framing to the reference clip.
  • The clip is rejected: trim it to between 3 and 30 seconds, and use footage with one performer and no hard cuts.
  • A fast-moving camera or several people in the clip give the model too much to follow, so choose a steadier reference.
  • If a generation fails, VidBoss AI tries the other motion models on the credits already reserved, and refunds the credits automatically if none of them can make the video.

Motion control or replacing a person in a video?

Kling Motion Control rebuilds the performance as a new video with your character, so the background is generated and the character can even be a pet. If you want to keep your original footage and only swap the person, use the replace-character tools instead. They edit your clip, keeping the scene, camera and sound.

Questions

What is the difference between motion control and image to video?

Image to video animates a photo from your text description of the motion. Motion control copies the movement from a reference video onto your character, so the timing and camera come from the clip.

Why does my motion control video look wrong?

Most problems come from the inputs: a reference with several people, hard cuts or a fast camera, or a character photo framed differently from the performer. Use a steady clip with one performer and a photo framed the same way, then try again.

What is Kling Motion Control?

Kling Motion Control copies the movement from a reference video onto a character from your photo. On VidBoss AI the Pro version renders in 1080p, follows clips from 3 to 30 seconds and keeps the audio from your reference video.

How do I copy a dance onto my own character?

Pick Motion Control, upload a photo of your character and a clip of the dance, and generate. A full-body photo and a steady, well-lit reference clip give the cleanest result.

What reference videos work best?

One person, full body visible, steady lighting and no hard cuts.

Is VidBoss AI the same as Vid Boss AI?

Yes. VidBoss AI (also written Vid Boss AI or VidBoss) is one product at vidbossai.com: an AI video studio for motion control and every other kind of AI video.
